What prior learning can you bring?
Prepare exact unit records and ask for an evidence-based credit or RPL decision.
Which route applies?
Credit concerns recognised prior units. Recognition of prior learning assesses existing competence against current requirements. Ask which applies to each unit, what evidence is needed and what gaps remain.
Why do exact codes matter?
The original CHC43015 merged earlier aged-care qualifications with non-equivalent outcomes. Current core codes and elective prerequisites still matter. An older title or similar unit name does not establish automatic credit.
What should you collect?
Gather transcripts, statements of attainment and relevant work evidence. Ask about evidence privacy, assessor access, fees and gap training. A written decision should explain accepted learning and the remaining plan.
