What does the 120-hour work requirement really cover?
CHCCCS023 links direct support hours with demonstrated competence.
What does this mean for your study?
CHCCCS023 requires at least 120 hours of direct support work and evidence of safely supporting at least three people. Hours and demonstrated competence belong together; reaching an hour total alone is not completion.
What should you check next?
Ask which duties, records and assessor access will meet the requirement. It is not a separate 120 hours for every unit. The RTO must confirm how approved work meets all selected requirements, and additional time may be needed.
What should you compare?
