Can I count my usual aged-care shifts toward the course?
Work evidence needs RTO assessment and an appropriate workplace.
What does this mean for your study?
Your usual shifts may provide useful evidence, but the RTO must decide whether the duties and workplace allow the required assessment. CHCCCS023 needs direct-support hours and evidence involving at least three people.
What should you check next?
Discuss assessor access, suitable tasks, consent and any gaps before counting shifts. Ask whether existing evidence will be assessed through recognition of prior learning or through current training. Being employed does not automatically satisfy every unit.

What remains unconfirmed?
